Is Xbox having issues with profile licencing?

Its been 2 weeks that I have not been able to play online because my friend list has disappeared from my Xbox 360. I signed in on 2 different Xboxes I have and still I cannot see my friend list. I can only see it when I'm online in my Xbox.com account. I can see messages sent from friends on my Xbox but I don't get the invitations from games they send. I also tried re adding people but I get a msg saying I already have them in my friend list. I called Xbox support today and spent 2 hours on the phone troubleshooting and nothing worked! At the end on the conversation agent said Xbox is having issues with profile licensing? and that they don't fix that until a lot of people have complained about it?! So I'm stuck now without playing until God knows when..

I have already provided feedback and reported to the Team Xbox about this issue. Still nothing has been done. I still cannot see my Xbox friends at all even when they are online.

Based on your description, you are having issues seeing your friends list on Xbox 360. We know how important it is for you to communicate and see if your friends are online through the console. That is why, we would like to ask if you have sent a feedback report to the Team Xbox about this issue? This might not be related to the profile licensing as you do not need license to create an Xbox account (Microsoft account). However, if you are referring to list of friends online inside a game then license could be part of the issue. Or might be a known issue for the game.

If you are not using the gamertag profile that originally brought it, then on the new gamertag profile you would have to purchase it again. As the licence transfer only transfers the licences if you have a new console or harddrive not a new gamertag profile
