Is Xbox Giving Up Us Hong Kong Market???

So Microsoft Xbox is now officially giving up us Hong Kong gaming market, as you are not participating the Animation, Comics & Games Expo (ACGHK) in this year (2018)???

It seems that Xbox is not only giving up us Hong Kong gaming market, but actually giving up the whole Asian gaming market, as a matter of fact.

I hate to say but, Microsoft, you sucks in the Asian gaming market, not because we don't know how to appreciate your Xbox, but you never treasure the connection between we gamers and you. You never stay connected to us!

Or probably, you actually do not fxxking care the gaming market in Asia? If so, then don't launch the coming new Xbox in here.

So many originally Xbox supporters were left hopeless and frustrated and then lost to Sony PlayStation already anyway.

Mind you, Microsoft, you have been repeating the failure of Sega and yourself for quite long time. I fear that you are not losing the gaming market in Asia, but also in Europe and America very soon!!!

SOOOO CONFUSED - DIRT 3 - BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY - XBOX ONE - GWL account - YES /NO ???

Obviously, it is MS oversight.

Why would I have to change my account from US country region when my CC is a Hong Kong based card, I am billed in Hong Kong so my registered address is in Hong Kong?

When I applied for GWL, all my billing information should be HK and in their system already as HK

I must agree, that there is not much of a spotlight in the Asian market, and feel genuinely sad that you folks can't enjoy Xbox as much as we can in the West. I do hope in future, the company listens, but MS are known to cut their losses with no second thought.

Yes, so all gamers in Asian are now actively and passively being driven to Sony PlayStation. I can see that Microsoft doesn't even bother to swing a fist to fight back, just repeating the failing history of Sega and Microsoft itself. Pathetic.

Thanks L for your support. Of course I know business is business, that's why I don't want to see Microsoft repeats the history of Sega and Blackberry, always hoping that the new models of products will drive customers back eventually, but without realizing
that it is actually the company's attitude that drives customers away. They still don't get it: if they lose the heart of supporters, they lose support forever, very difficult to call them back. I can see that they are totally following the failing path of
Sega, and I really hate to say that: the coming new gaming console will make them fail like that day Dreamcast did to Sega.

 

Microsoft is dedicated to being the world leader in gaming entertainment. Rest assured that the company is dedicated to leading in all markets, including Asia where historically Nintendo and Sony have had a much stronger presence. While it is unfortunate
that the Eastern market can't enjoy XBox the same way the West can, Microsoft will no doubt come back strong as time moves forward.

 

I don't know, but Microsoft did repeatedly make fiascos and laughingstocks in Japan where they don't want to give up. For other Asian area I cannot comment, but in Hong Kong, most of the original Xbox supporters felt betrayed and totally lost confidences
to Microsoft and Xbox.

Blackberry is definitely a landmark key example for business management: it is so easy to make a great brand collapse but extremely difficult to rebuild. Even though you might face some hardship causing you cannot lure customers purchase more from you, you
still have to retain a good relationship with them, with a bottom-line that don't make the customers hate you. Once they hate you, you can hardly win them back. So Microsoft has already lost a battle in Xbox One, but they choose to lose the console war as
well? Sad but true.
