I was talking to my buddy on Xbox chat. We talk trash all the time. It’s all in good standing. Well… I sent him a message saying [mod removed] and I was banned weeks later for that very message. I called him up and asked him if he

Reported me for it and he said he didn't and why would he. He says the same things to me. I appealed the suspension but haven’t received anything back. This is very upsetting because there is no reason I should have received this and it is my second one. The first was a player i complimented at first for Being really good at the game. He told me he was actually hacking and I said “if so you’re a [mod removed] because that’s not cool.” I’m bummed that Xbox enforcement is this bad. I feel like I can’t even speak with chat anymore. They say it’s “to prevent emotional harm” but in reality these suspensions cause more harm than my messages.

But why would I get banned if I was never reported from him?

Because that is against forum guidelines.

It's possible your account could have been reported for something different anf the enforcement team came across those messages while they were investigating ir you said something that was caught by a filter.

Also why would a mod remove words I already blanked out with “******” are you that uptight about “bad” words that you have to remove even that??????

If you submitted a case review, you'll need to wait for a response from the enforcement team, but using language that violates the code of conduct warrants a suspension.

all it takes is one report and the AI will ban you automatically, happens to people using Xbox provided gamer pics too.
