Is X1 upgrade from Comcast/xfinity compatable with Xbox One

im going to upgrade my Comcast cable to X1 . Will I be able to connect it the same way it's connected now or connect it independently to my tv using hdmi cable . I would hope I can connect it the way it's connected now thru the cable box to the Xbox console

Hey all, has anyone else seen the new xfinity x1? I wonder if this box will be compatable with the X One's TV functions?

Very odd that comcast would release this with such similar functions...

Need Code For Comcast Xfinity X1 Platform

I got the new X1 platform from Comcast about a few months ago. I tried getting the Xbox One to recognize the box but it doesn't. I typed and chose Xfinity and Comcast to send the command but still nothing. Is the new X1 platform from Comcast compatible with
Xbox One yet? If it s does anybody have the code?

Currently have Comcast X1 service and it's sucessfully being passed through my XBONE. You'll be fine.

Set up Comcast box manually. Type in Xfinity instead and see that gives you more choices. I have a x1 box from Comcast, could not find it until I typed Xfinity.

Try setting make=Comcast (or xfinity), model=X1. That should work.

Would the same apply if I were to switch out my TiVo with a Comcast xfinity X1 box? I had heard that they would be some integration with the major networks like comcast.

I agree, We should have the NHL app, as well as a Comcast/Xfinity App on Xbox One. Access to on-demand content from XFinity would be great!
