    Is this normal? Random fan startings at max speed


    Hi guys!

    I have attached a sort video, where you can see the problem.

    The cooling fan starts its self, even if the console turned off, and starting to spin at max level of speed and noise. If i knock it gently, it stops.

    Havent noticed anything else, just this.

    I have sent my console back to support, and they "fixed" it, but my XSX still doing it.

    That's normal

    The normal operating temperature is 60degrees max

    The max of a ps5 ia 65

    You do know that they are vwnting the heat right ?

    Your modern day laptops and computers produce more heat with a tinier fan and tunnel design

    yes, it's normal. If you couldn't hear it, then it wouldn't be working. Plus the fan will change speed on depending what it is doing.

    The fan is variable speed and will run at a higher setting based on demand for the cooling. It is not normally a problem and should be considered normal. If it is doing it constantly or you are getting overheating errors with a shutdown then you have
    a problem.

    Yes, that is normal, you should hear it if you get real close to it, but not from across the room or anything, they are quieter than the ps4 in my experience.
