is this just me or are parties broken?

Hi. Thank you for trying to help me through the issue, but its still happening. ive tried everything i could find. everything is up to date and ive tried restoring the gamebar but nothing is working

Thank you for writing to Xbox Community Forums.

We understand that you are having issues on joining parties with friends. It will give you an unknown cause of error which lead you to be out from the party screen of your friends without you recognizing it. They can see that you left on their screen and you cannot hear each other anymore.

This problem normally occurs due to an instability with the service. Try this procedure, and if that doesn't work, we advise waiting for a while.

• First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:
  
• Open Settings > Update and Security and then Update Windows;
  
• Go to Check for Updates;
  
• Go to Download and Install Now option, if available;
  

After doing the above, Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox Gamebar > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Same thing is happening to me. I think it's because there is no setting for game/party invites in the notification settings anymore. The app is just broken and needs to be fixed.
