    My friend has gave me his 2009 copy of mw2. When he used to play this game he was hacking and modding online alot which led to his account being banned for life. Is this disk safe to put into my xbox or is his hacks and mods on the disk? I don't know how it works

    The disc would only have the game data. It wouldn't have saved anything else.

    Xbox 360 console requires unauthorized insides modification to play pirated games from disk. If your Xbox was not open and still under warranty, you can play it safe.

    Not Buying it untill they allow it to stand on its side

    THey didn't design it to turn on its side. This is a matter of adding like 3 cents per cost of the Blue Ray Drive so that it can safely play disks from its side.

    My 360 has not scrached any disks that i'm aware of, and its always on its side.

    Yeah try installing it to be safe, and installing directly from the second disk.
