    Hey I added a work around checkmark just so that I can have it there and my friend texted me saying that it could be taken as Microsoft support or even worse because only Microsoft admins and VIP's are allowed to have it. I was wondering if this is true for a Microsoft admin/employee and if I'm violating TOS by having it on my account?

    I only have it there just because it fits and I'm not posing as a Microsoft employee of any sort so just curious

    There's not a verification system in place at all on the service, so not even anyone at Microsoft has a checkmark. However, I would not suggest using it because it is possible they could see it as some sort of impersonation and also because you have to change the name on your account to include that. If there was a situation where you have to contact Microsoft and give them the name on your Microsoft account, that could complicate things.

    That might actually be considered against the Terms of Service for use of trading for MSP, which is a bannable offense..

    •Don’t use your account for commercial purposes (including, without limitation, trading services or in-game content for currency or Microsoft Points).

    Sharing your account details is against the rules and a bannable offense. Logging into someone elses account (even if you have their permission) is also against the rules and a bannable offense.
