    Is there such thing as a audio jack adapter?


    So long time ago, I bought the Xbox One Stereo Headset, it came with the adapter aswell. After some time, I broke the headset, but the adapter still worked pretty nice with some earbuds I had. On Christmas I received the Samsung S8 which came with some AKG
    earphones that were descent, aswell as a pair of Beats EP. The AKG pair worked fine without the stereo headset adapter (when I added the adapter, only the audio worked). When I connected the Beats EP, they didn't work with/without the adapter, the audio worked
    fine, but the microphone made weird noises (when I recorded a voice message, I heard a loud annonying beeping sound). As I researched, I found out that it had to do with the audio jack, which was not made for xbox usage. I was wondering if there was such thing
    as a audio jack adapter?, and if so, Which one do you guys recommend? I want one, so that I can pair my Beats and/or my AKG with my xbox headset adapter and then into my controller.

    PS: Sorry for making this post so long.

    Great, near perfect are Mario Kart, Super Mario bros. and ModNation Racers for me.

    As a side note the green audio jack is plugged into the monitor directly, use to my computer, and 2.5 mm jack going to the Xb audio controller adapter

    Chat through a HI-FI headphone??

    I doubt getting an answer for my hi-fi headphone - attachable mic - microsoft adapter problem as posted above. It probably would not work anyway. Maybe a compromise solution could be: PC headset with two 3.5mm jacks (audio + mic). The audio jack to the DAC,
    mic jack to the adapter.

    This might be the only way to get chat audio to the headset while maintaining superior game audio from the DAC. Check out the forthcoming Audio Technica ATH ADG1 PC headset.

    Hello are do your controllers have the built in audio jack or are you using an audio adapter to plug your headsets into the controllers? If it is the same audio adapter used on both controllers that might be the issue.

    I think you are wrong, with the headset adapter the jack of the headset is plugged into the adapter which use the expansion port on the controller to transmit the audio. The broken jack port on the controller will not be used anymore.

    No. Only for audio. The new microphone jack is difference. The companies are supposed to be working on adapters.
