Is there something wrong with my series s wifi card/adapter?

I’ve had the console for almost two years with no issue but all of a sudden twice within the last couple months it refuses to connect to my wifi no matter what I do even though it’s working on my other devices (clearing mac address, hard resetting console, resetting router , using Ethernet cable, etc. i factory reset the console and was able to set it up using the Xbox app and was able to connect after leaving it off for a couple hours when it didn’t connect the first time but now I did the same thing and it’s not working…I don’t have any other wifi to see if it works with…what’s also weird is when I test the connection it says “it’s all good” but it only lets me use apps like YouTube and Netflix but not do anything else..I can’t look at my profile, friends list , or etc ..The connection is also working fine on My 360

Hello Lsg, I see from your description that you've already tried several procedures that I would recommend.

However, if possible try sharing your mobile phone's 3g network and see if you can connect your Xbox One to your phone's 3g network.

This is another way to test the console's Wi-Fi connectivity.

My computer doesn't have a wifi card in it so I wouldn't be able to try that. I also dont have a usb wifi adapter laying around either. Is there something else I could try?

You may need a wifi adapter.

Xbox 360 S Has a wifi into it don't need a usb wifi

Does your wifi work with all other devices other than the Xbox?

If you think there's something wrong with the Wifi card in your console, then you can easily check it by enabling hotspot on your phone, and then use that hotspot as wifi on your console.

It is an old 360 with the microsoft 99.99 adapter, or is it a 360-s model?

Is your phone getting a good signal (example, all bars full?) from the same spot your 360 is trying to connect from? It might just be too weak for the 360 but strong enough for your phone. Check your adapter and 360 - it might be something wrong with one
of them. Do you have any other wifi devices besides the phone and 360?
