Is there no Achievements in the PC versions of games? NEED HELP!? :(

Hello, just started my 14 day trial of Game Pass, and downloaded - Halo Wars: Definitive Edition - to my PC.

So i played the game, started first mission on Heroic and finished it. I got Gold medal, par time and found every collectible. All this should have unlocked at least 4 Achievements. But nothing popped.
In the matter of fact, within the game there is no Achievements tab... But if i go to Xbox.com i can see it says:

>>Halo Wars: Definitive Edition (PC) 0/1500G<<

Should'nt i be able to earn achievements? it is even on the page over games i've played...

On this page:

You can see that they pretty much says there are achievements in the PC version...

"Halo Wars: Definitive Edition includes improved graphics, new achievements and all of the DLC created for the landmark strategy game." - Just not for me?
or does everyone have this problem?

Another thing as well - Halo 5: Forge, wont unlock achievements as well (this is for PC as well)... almost the same issues as with Halo Wars^^

Is there someone to get in touch with to talk about this?? Would love to get this fixed or get some real answers

Need Achievment Help

The enforcement team does not use the forums and there is no way to contact them unless you've been suspended. Gamerscore resets are only given if someone has filed a complaint on you and the enforcement team finds you've cheated/modded your achievements.
When they issue resets, they remove all of the achievements on your account and you can no longer re-earn those achievements on your account. There is no way to have just specific achievements removed.

 

I need help.........

If you created your world, then your console hosts it; as in if you turn your console off, the world goes off with it. Minecraft is a broken, disgusting mess. I've had things happen.

I should mention that seeds are different depending on what version you have. PC version vs Xbox, and even whatever Title Update you have. Data gets shifted around, rendering these seeds useless. Of course, the PC version has an efficient way of updating,
unlike the Xbox which is a potato.

 

Hi! There are currently issues because of which achievements may not display correctly on xbox.com Did you try to check with the Xbox-app for Windows 10 instead?

 

You definitely get achievement for Xbox Live games on PC. As suggested by
Julian_ can you check on Xbox App on your PC or phone if you see your achievements there, or check on trueachievements.com.

 

Yes i checked, it says 0/1500G :/

shouldn't there be a tab inside the game with "Achievements"?

 

i did check on trueachievements.com in there it even says i haven't played the game.

i just reinstalled it and cleared the catche in the store. redone the first achievement to unlock at least 4 achievements. nothing popps, nothing is being added to my score. It really feels like you cannot earn them on the PC version.. tho they say you can
on the homepage i linked.

 

Sorry to hear it. I can understand why you'd be upset. I like getting achievements too. As game saves are stored across the PC and Xbox One for Play Anywhere titles can you try launching the game on an Xbox One to see if your achievements pop there?

 

Well, aint got one But im sure they would pop there as it is on Xbox Service then.

but that is not fixing the proplems :/

 

I understand it doesn't fix the issue right now but it's worth a shot. Even if you have a friend with a console that you can try that with.

 

I can understand that this is annoying and I'll be really annoyed if I do not get achievements for the games that I play. There's definitely something wrong, how about contacting support at https://support.xbox.com/contact-us#0 and
when asked if you want help from the virtual agent then select no.

 

unfortunately they could not help out as much as i thought, they only gave me pages to forums i could post the same thing about. i guess i wont be able to earn achievements in this game for PC ever

The game itself must be bugged or wrongfully designed since there is achievments (as they say themself) but cannot be unlocked :/

Hello all again, found of that this service on Windows 10 "Connected User Experiences and Telemetry" blocked for some reason achievements... this needs to be set to auto, then apply and after that start the service...

For some reason i found out new updates will disable this service again for some reason... which is very annoying... but thats just basic windows setups now ive got no time to play 100 matches online ;_;

Achievements SHOULD be popping for you, however since you are on PC there may be settings for it that a variety of updates could be resetting. Honestly I would recommend reaching out to tech support, they should be able to walk you thru settings step by
step.
