Is there anyway to sign out of my console from the app?

sign into his pc account, open xbox app and sign him out of it, sign in with your account, download game, sign yourself out of the xbox app and back in with your sons and then he can play it on his account. if for console then add your account to the console and make it home, then he can download the game from his profile on the console.

To start things out, which device are you using the Xbox app on? Since this began, have you tried signing out from your account, removing the app, redownloading it, and signing back in? If not, give that a go and let us know if it helps

I'm using my Xbox one console, not the app. and its just weird I've signed out, rebooted my Xbox, uninstalling apps and unpinning then redoing it. I just have a problem with my pins rearranging themselves every time I go back to the home section of the dashboard
from a game or app.

I have a similar problem. when I about to start a game or go to one of my apps it signs me than back in but Im still sign out anyway & have to sign back in. When I log into the multiplayer on Assassin's Creed: Revelation it sign me out of my profile & says
I lost connection.

Do you mean sign out of the console companion app on my phone or is there a console companion app on my PC that I am missing?

Thanks for posting here on the Xbox forums. Have you already tried restarting your PC, and then checking again? If so, then the next step I would recommend would be signing out of the console companion app and then re-signing in. You can sign out
from the Settings menu from within the Xbox Console Companion app.
