is there anyway to report a lag switcher ?

Ive been playing bioshock online for a few years. The lobbies are hacked all the time and people use lag swithes freely. Why has xbox done nothing about this

You will need to use the tools you have on your console:
support.xbox.com/.../chat-terms-of-use-conduct

That link will show you how to file a complaint, mute, block communications, and avoud a player. That is all you can do. It can take weeks for the XBLPET to review a complaint, so don't worry. Just do the things listed in that link and move on.

On a side note, make sure to not name and shame other users on this website.

If you have already reported the player using the tools on your console you have already taken the appropriate action. That is the only way to report a player to the enforcement team. It does take time for the XBLPET to get to every report as they do get
thousands a day. Please be patient. In the meantime, use the “player review” option on the players profile to avoid the player.

You can report the person by using the dashboard reporting tools. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided. That report will be sent to the PET (Policy Enforcement Team) for them to investigate and take any necessary
action on.

Temhotabot

In addition to the above, many games have an in-game reporting tool so the Game Developer can take action against cheaters as well as Microsoft. Halo 3 has such a tool and in addition to reporting the player to Microsoft via the
file a complaint tool on your console you should also file a report in-game so 343 can take action against the offender if they deem it necessary. They can also access your video vault for proof should they need it.

The fact that there are 4 pages in this thread surprises me and I'm seeing a lot of posts that are saying "We were on 2 bar and they were on 4" that's called a foreign host not a lag switch. Guaranteed not even half of the people who have posted in here
have played against a lag switcher. It'll be obvious that there's a lag switcher because you'll get a connection interrupted when you go to shoot the lag switcher and come back dead. 2 barring and even one barring is not a sign of a lag switcher it's a sign
of a bad host or one far away from you.
