    Is there anyway to play music from one drive on xbox one?


    Since last year I have been wanting to play music from onedrive on background (just like you do with the Soundcloud app) while playing games. Is there any app on the xbox store that lets me do this?

    PD: what I want to do is to play the mp3 files on my onedrive account.

    On the Xbox 360 you could stream music / vidoes from a network hard drive onto your xbox through the system music or video player. It there any way to do this on the Xbox One?

    So I have the 4gb hard drive with my xbox and I have a usb drive that I want to use a hard drive to save all of my games, profiles, and music on. Is there anyway to format a usb hard drive or external hard drive that will have the necessary files to save

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. That is a great question. There are several applications that will allow background music on the Xbox One. We have an article entitled

    Getting Started With Background Music on Xbox One     that has a list of supported applications. The article explains that using Groove music will allow MP3s from OneDrive to be played. However, Groove music has merged with Spotify. Thus, there is no application

    I recommend spotify. I don't think you can run it from One Drive.
