Is there anyway to get the games back to the Xbox PC beta launcher.

I got 165GB of installed games i can't play anymore since I reinstalled windows when i also reinstalled Xbox beta it can't find the games on my D: HDD.

I also can't uninstall them because microsoft has locked the files down.

So i have a HDD with 165GB in use that i can't use.

I hope sooner or later we can just go into the files and delete them like any ohter game on the pc because this aint a xbox.

I can understand the ease of using a system like download and play done with playing just throw away fast since it's installed specific so you only lose time with downloading.

there is no hope, once a reinstall or even a refresh happens you HAVE to download all the games again, Microsoft uses a mixture of ways for games on game pass pc and all reside in an encrypted folder which a new version of windows will not use.

sorry but you will have to download the lot again. be warned that some of your game saves maybe gone too as not all gamepass pc games support cloud saves.

Thank you lucky I need to fully reset everything so it's not a to big of a loss but only time.

It's just sad that we can't access most of the stuff in those folders i get the idea it's better if we can't mess with them but at the same time sometimes you need to mess with them.

I am playing on PC using the Xbox (Beta) launcher.

I will try uninstalling and re-installing the game, I have also contacted the game support team.

I am not trying to install Sea of Thieves, I am trying to install xbox pc beta launcher, but I did not leave this screen

guess Im the minority, but I enjoyed the beta. obviously, 15 levels comprising 5-8 hours of gameplay, an MMO does not make.

I intend to get it for PC anyway though. I opt for PC for most games though.
