    So I recently bought an Xbox 360 just because I wanted to enjoy playing the old games. I signed in with my current account and noticed that I hardly have any achievements and that they're all on my (very) old account. I remember the email address and password
    of by heart, as it's literally similar to my current email/pw. Even the Xbox Gamertag is LITERALLY the same just one minor tweak...Yet I have to go through this questionnaire BS. Like I get it, it's for safety purposes but surely if email & gamertag are similar
    enough what's the point of this? All the money I spent on Live points, avatar items, achievements etc. It would be REALLY annoying to lose all of those things from my childhood. The last game was played (if I recall) 6 years ago...

    Is there ANY possible way to recover my old email account without having to go through this questionnaire bs? It's tough to remember most of the details since I was very young. I seriously wouldn't mind calling support to go through this process. Please
    help, I just want to reminisce my good old times with my first ever Xbox Live account.

    However, to link my old email address to my hotmail account is not possible as i can only link other hotmail email addresses to my hotmail account.

    I tried to recover my old email address and was informed by the email address provider that it was not only deactivated but also terminated and not recoverable as i havent used it in 10+ years.

    Is there any other way to help change my old xbox live email address? Perhaps microsoft could change it manually? Given that i can verify that it is my account via Identification card, phone number or facebook as i use the same email address there as i do on my xboxlive account.

    Recover the unwanted profile to your console using the Hotmail address, then change the Live ID for that profile to some other email address (also on the console). Then the Hotmail address will be available to use as the Live ID when promoting your
    offline profile to Xbox Live.
