Is there anyway I’d be able to get/recover my old old Xbox 360 account?

So this all begins in 2006 when my dad purchased a used Xbox 360 for me on Christmas.

I was insanely excited to have my own 360 and be able to play the next gen games at the time, but I’m that 360s hard drive was a account not deleted by the old owner. I soon claimed the account as my own “metaphorically speaking”. Throughout the years I made many memories and friends, was always excited to come home from school and play all night etc. but In 2013 I got the newer 360 and soon realized I wouldn’t be able to transfer the account over (sign in actually) due to the account not being mine. At 7 years old I didn’t know better or cared to make a new account.

so what I’m asking here is there anyway I can get that old account? It’s been 9-10 years and I think about it here and there. Enough to make me want to try again,

it wasn’t my account to begin with but was left on a hard drive I played on as a kid, and eventually just made it mine over the 7 years. Any help I really appreciate even telling me a solid no I just need that closer. I also still carry the gamer tag or a different version of it.

The answer to this is likely what you were expecting and unfortunately it's a big no.

As you said, this account was never yours in the first place and so there would be no way to even log in without the correct email address and password, and Microsoft will not give you this information.

You can't merge data between accounts. But you can change the primary email associated with them
