Is there anyway I can get a gametag from account that had been inactive?

Hello Personal, unfortunately it is not possible, the Gamertag and Microsoft account are one, if the account in question has the inactive profile this may be happening only because that owner does not use the account to play, then there is no progress or games to be seen, but must use the account email for other personal purposes.

Account gametags has to be inactive for 5 years before being up for grabs again. So don't get your hopes up.

What chance that MS remove this gametag for inactivity and it will be available again?

If the tag belongs to an inactive account would it not be available for lookup? Could that be why I'm having this issue? Also, if the account is inactive is there anyway for me to get the tag? Also, is there a way to search for inactive gamertags like
mine possibly is?

It's possible to remove this gametag from my Microsoft's account, so I can move, via console, another gametag to this Microsoft's account?
