    Is there any way to update your warranty without contacting a support agent?


    My elite series 2 controller is out of its warranty period despite only being 11 months old and the warranty being 1 year. I have contacted a support agent 4 times only for them to put me on hold and hang up after 10-20 mins. Is there no email address that I can just send my receipt of purchase and serial number to?

    Unfortunately contacting support is the only way. There is no way to contact them via email.

    The replacement device must have a minimum warranty of 3 months depending on the country you are in, if the replacement page indicates that it is out of warranty you should contact a support agent on the contact page and try to update your warranty.

    You would need to contact an xbox support agent and provide proof of purchase with the purchase date visable to process any warranty claim if the device was indeed still in warranty

    If you have the proof of purchase you will be required to provide it to update the warranty, only trough support can be updated the warranty
    I appreciate your response Ricardo but I have no way of contacting support. There is no option to chat or call someone through "contact us" on the xbox help page. How do I contact support? Also if any Xbox or Microsoft employees read this I would appreciate a response as to the longevity of your controllers. Why has mine failed after a few months of very light use?
