Is there any way to turn off all those annoying noises the XBox One makes?

Outside of games, every single button press makes some kind of noise play over the TV. Every time you select something, the XBox has to play some stupid noise to let you know you selected something. And worse, these noises aren't just annoying, they're
LOUD. They're louder than anything else that plays over the TV. When I turn on my XBox, I have to turn down the sound to almost 0, and the noises are still there, just not as loud. I'm not a toddler, who needs constant stimulation while I'm using my XBox.
Is there any way to turn these annoying noises OFF?

Is there any particular reason Those sounds can't be turned off? I can turn off the sounds on my phone, and I can even turn them off in Windows. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's almost as if they were deliberately designed to be irritating. It's getting
to the point where I don't even like to turn on my XBox anymore.

Look and see on your settings section and see if u have the narrator on or off

Hi TI99Kitty,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your Xbox One. Sadly, navigation sounds for the Xbox One can not be disabled unlike the Xbox 360. You can, however, modify the startup chime and disable it following the below guide:

1. Navigate to Settings > Power & Startup > Power mode & Startup

2. Select your preferred choice.

On (Chime plays whenever the console is powered on).
Only with the power button or voice (Chime only plays when the console is powered on by the power button or voice).
Off (Chime never plays).
