Is there any way to recover my account

I guess there's no way to recover my account then. Is there any way my purchase could be recovered / moved to a different outlook account then?

Hi, I don't like to give bad news but unfortunately Microsoft Support isn't able to send password reset links or modify account information.

When the recovery form is rejected you have these options:

Your Microsoft account recovery request wasn't granted

Thanks Josef although unfortunately my account recovery forms keep being automatically rejected because I can only provide the Xbox ID, which isn't enough. The account is still active and I hoped I'd be able to speak to someone and provide information other than what's on the form, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Cheers anyway!

In this case I can advise you fill the account recovery form, in that way you're going to submit a ticket with Microsoft account recovery team https://account.live.com/acsr

Sadly, an account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone.

Please note that regular Microsoft Support is not capable to send password reset links for security policies and here in the public forums no one can access / modify / view account details.

Also, exists the possibility that your account has closed / deleted automatically
I say this because usually the system deletes an account after 5 years of inactivity

If you are not receiving the code in the email address that you're typing , it means that the email used is not the correct / the one registered as a security email
