In the elder scrolls V, there seems that the most recent update plus the mod “Ugh Mod Manager” has caused me to not be able to do anything with the modding. I can’t disable, delete, or even change the load order.

Is it possible to have the servers somehow delete the data so that I could regain access to the in game mods?

    :)

Is there any way to have your data in a game be deleted to fix an issue in game.

    Hello wha7does7hefox,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

We understand you’re experiencing issues with modding in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It’s possible that the recent update and the “Ugh Mod Manager” mod may have caused some conflicts with your game data. If I may ask, are you using Xbox or PC?

If you are using PC, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Disable the mod: You can try disabling the “Ugh Mod Manager” mod to see if that resolves the issue. Here are the steps to follow:
      • Launch Skyrim and select Mods from the main menu.
      • Find the “Ugh Mod Manager” mod and select it.
      • Select Disable and then confirm the action.
    2. Delete the mod: If disabling the mod doesn’t work, you can try deleting it. Here are the steps to follow:
      • Launch Skyrim and select Mods from the main menu.
      • Find the “Ugh Mod Manager” mod and select it.
      • Select Delete and then confirm the action.
    3. Verify the integrity of your game files: You can try verifying the integrity of your game files to see if there are any corrupted files that need to be repaired. Here are the steps to follow:
      • Launch Xbox and go to your Library.
      • Right-click on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and select Properties.
      • Select the Local Files tab and then click Verify Integrity of Game Files.
      • Wait for the process to complete and then try launching the game again.
    4. Reinstall the game: If none of the above steps work, you can try reinstalling the game. First, uninstall the game from your computer. Then, download and install the latest version of the game from Microsoft Store App.

If you are using Xbox Console, unfortunately, there is no way to have the servers delete your data in the game. The only way to delete your data is to uninstall and reinstall the game, but this will also erase your progress and achievements. However, there may be another solution to fix the issue with the modding. You can try clearing the cache of your console, which may resolve any conflicts or errors caused by the update or the mod. To do this, follow these steps:

    - Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu appears.

    - Select Restart console and confirm.

    - Once the console restarts, press and hold the Xbox button again until the power menu appears.

    - Select Settings > System > Storage.

    - Select Clear local saved games and confirm.

    - Restart your console again.

This will not delete any of your saved games or mods, but it will clear any temporary files that may be causing problems. After doing this, you can try to access the modding feature again and see if it works.

I hope this helps! If you’re still having trouble, please let me know we will do our best to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Ok guys I had the same issue and took the following steps:

    1. Delete saved game data from xbox one. Did not fix problem.

2.delete saved game data from everywhere. Did not fix problem started new save game data. No fix.

3.deleted entire game and any updates. Reinstalled/downloaded. Kept save data. Problem fixed.

In short. Uninstaller and delete game including updates. Keep your saved game data. Redownload and reinstall. This worked for me.

if you deleted the game and all saved data that could be why, but if you didn't delete the saved data try hard resetting your console and see if that fixes your issue.

I'm having the same issue. For me its the cloud sync that causes the crashing. When I re-install it and start it up again I cancel the cloud sync and it runs just fine. I can't find any fix for it or any way to delete cloud save data for PC game pass games.
