Is there any way to exchange a gift?

I've tried contacting support directly, but every time I do I end up getting stuck in a constant loading state.
Basically, I was gifted Skyrim: Anniversary Edition off of the Xbox app by a friend. I redeemed the code but it never showed up in my library. I thought that the store was being slow and waited until today. I looked at my order history and got to the game page from there, and it seems like I was gifted the Xbox version instead of the PC version. Since I've already redeemed the code, I don't think my friend is able to refund it. My friend plays on Xbox and gifted it through his console, unsure if that has anything to do with it but it might.

I'm sorry to say, but once a code has been redeemed, the content can be exchanged for a different one or transfer the content to a different account.

Not only that, but I would like to let you know that you or your friend can always double-check the device compatibility for a game or app by looking at the description of the game/app.

The content per gift is not transferable, refundable or exchangeable in any way, friend.

You would have to contact the retailer it was purchased from to see if they will exchange it. Otherwise, there is no way to convert it into a gift card.

You could try finding someone else to sell it to and then buy the correct card, but otherwise there is no way to exchange it for a regular gift card.

Just another question, is there any workaround for this, eg. an exchange? Or is the product set in stone since its a gift.
