    Are you referring to a Games with Gold title? Unfortunately once a month's Games with Gold ends you would be unable to download that game again. It sounds like you previously owned the first Borderlands and were unable to get Borderlands 2 when it was available.

    On a serious note Borderlands 2 was the first game Ive bought online and I'm not sure if I like getting games this way...eg Depending on the postman delivering it on time. Ive heard tales of people waiting days after release for their game to be delivered.
