Is there any way to change the font size?

Correct on accessibility. This will not apply to all games, but it will to the dashboard and games thst support it.

Most people sit far too far away from their TV, it’s why so many people still buy DVD. When you’re ten feet away from 42” (this is average in the US) differences are far less apparent.

Six feet is really a maximum for anything under 65” At that size you actually have to sit 3.5-6.5 feet to resolve all the benefits of 4K due to limitations of human vision

If you go the settings in game then Accessibility there's an option to change the subtitle font size. Not tried it myself but give that a go.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Ease of Access > Captioning.

One solution would be a trip to a opticians to get your eyes checked

Seriously though,what game are you having trouble with?

Is your tv a 4KTV?

I play my Series X on a 55" 4KTV & sit about the same distance away & have no issues reading the text in games & i know i need to get my eyes tested (i'm getting old)

In deed it’s a 4KTV.

I’m having trouble reading onscreen text while play the ascent.

By the way, I’m already wearing glasses.
