    Is there any way I can add an existing email I own?


    I keep trying to change the email to a different one I already own but I can't because it just says "This email address is already taken. Please try another one." I have selected "Add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias" and it just says the exact same thing, Please help.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    This means that the Microsoft account that you're trying to add as an alias already has an Xbox profile linked to it.

    According to Xbox Support:

    "Note Email addresses and phone numbers that are already set up as an alias on another account can’t be used."

    I’m sorry but we can’t delete an Xbox profile.

    Yes, if you have signed in on an Xbox console or visiting an Xbox website this will create an Xbox profile for you.
