    Is there any contact information for assisting with account recovery?


    Hi,

    I am trying to change a password for an account with a deactivated email account. I am being forced to change the email by Microsoft, but the account recovery is not working. Is there a phone number to call that will actually work to talk to someone?

    The account recovery system is not broken. It is up to the account holder to remember their information and also keep it up to date because at any time, any service can require you to enter said information.

    You havent mentioned that you've contact the Microsoft Account Team on the forums that Hassassinade posted a link for. Have you contacted them yet?

    Hi Toss, We don't handle account recovery information. You will need to contact Xbox Support for assistance. You can also go to the email provider of the account you associated your Gamertag with and try to recover/reset your password.
