Is there an improvement to FPS by playing non-enchaned Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One X / Xbox ...

I'm debating wheather to buy an Xbox One S or Xbox One X. I want to play old Xbox 360 games on one of these new consoles for an increase in performance; mainly fps increase / stability.

1.) So my first question is, do non-enhanced Xbox 360 games run better in terms of fps / stability on an Xbox One S or Xbox One X, compared to the original Xbox 360?

2.) Does an Xbox One X run non-enhanced Xbox 360 games any better than the Xbox One S would?

3.) Do enhanced Xbox 360 games only benefit from an Xbox One X (not Xbox One S)? And is the difference between an enhanced and non-enhanced Xbox 360 game that different in terms of fps / stability?

Any information to these three questions will be appreciated

All Xbox one games will work on the One S and the One X. As they are the same generation of console.

Xbox 360 games that is backward compatible will also play on the Xbox One, S and the X.

 

they run better; the difference between the one x and the one s in non-enhanced games is not so big.enhanced games usually are 4k 60 fps.

 

The enhanced games are for the Xbox One X only.

 

Frame rate will not be any different, unless you have an X and enhanced games. Even then the frame rate might not of had a boost, by the developer.

 

From what I’ve been reading framerates won’t improve without a game having an X patch. However even without a patch the extra power of the X “should” even out the framerates, have improved texture filtering, faster load times and better native resolution.

If your playing on an Xbox One or Xbox One S you will only see better Frame Rates.

If your Playing on an Xbox One X you will see the better Frame Rates and possibly 4K HDR if they have been enhanced.

 

Go with the Xbox One X, it not only plays new games in the best 4k possible but it provides performance boosts to older games.

I would go with the X.

I have one myself and the enhanced games look incredible on it. Will be better if you play on a 4k TV.

Can still game on a 1080p tv with the X. Still gives you a better qaulity picture.
