Yes, because regardless if you have unliked them in the game, you will be unable to link your PSN to a different Microsoft account as stated above.

You would need to unlink it in the game menu and sadly, if you did, you won't be able to link it to a different Microsoft account. Please also note that Mojang mentioned that once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PSN, neither of them can be associated with a different account.

Your mother needs to retrieve her account at https://account.live.com/acsr in order for her to remove you from the family group.

Additionally, if you are part of a family group and of legal age, you may manually leave the family group under the family safety by signing in here: https://account.microsoft.com/family click the 3 dots beside "You" and click "Go to Overview" > On the left panel, click Overview > Scroll down and you will see "Member settings" and click on "Leave family group".

If you were not in the family group, you will be able to correct your birth date at https://account.microsoft.com/profile. Have you tried it?

To the PSN, and to make it simpler, its not wise to unlink an account as you wouldn't be able to use your PSN or Microsoft account to relink them to a different account.
