Is there a way Xbox can find the first epic games account linked to my Xbox account

if you unlink an epic account from an xbox account it can be relinked but only to that same xbox account, epic accounts are locked to the first xbox account they link too. epic changed to this way early last year.

Hey there! A simple way you can find access the settings and unlink your account is on Epic Games’ website. You just have to sign in there using the Xbox button, then continue into the “Account Details” option in the menu and from there you’ll find Linked
Accounts and can then unlink the two. However, I believe Epic does platform locks, so your PC account can’t be linked Xbox until crossplay is implemented. Hope I was able to help you out!

there is no option to move items etc from one Xbox Live Account to another, but since it's Fortnite related, there might be an alternate solution.

I think the content for Fortnite is linked to the Fortnite account (Epic account) and that can be linked to a different Xbox Live Account.

Keep in mind to not use the Xbox Live Accounts or Epic Accounts when on a console, since this could result in a new Epic Account being created.

The second possibility is that your Xbox account is linked to an "unnamed" Epic Games account. "Unnamed" Epic Games accounts are created automatically when you log into Fortnite on a console without creating an Epic Games account. If you have a "no name" Epic Games account, you can convert it to a full Epic Games account
