    Is there a way to use Xbox Gift Cards between different regions and countries?


    Hey Lads, got a question that needs answering. So I'm from the UK, I'm game sharing with a person from Ireland. We both want Dying Light 2 so we agreed to split 50/50.

    My question is, can I or can he send a Gift Card to the other person. I've already done a lil research and it doesn't seem possible, but I've seen people (from years ago) say they could change the location of their Xbox to whatever country the card is from and it supposedly works, now the Internet is the Internet full of people who tell nothing but the truth, so I just need some people to educate me if it is actually possible.

    Gift cards for all regions

    No there are not sorry.

    Every region has their own Xbox Live service.

    If you sell region free gift cards, this regions gonna suffer.

    The only way to support Xbox Live in your country and to get more out of it, is to buy gift cards for and in your region.

    Never had a problem with gift cards between different regions before. It failed when it was anything else, but gift cards seemed to work fine.

    I simply purchase a gift card through Xbox, in my current currency of course, and provide the code to my friend in a different region.

    Works fine and avoids lying about your region (aka breaking the terms).

    yobrizo is correct with this. You cannot gift a game to someone in a different country/region than you. If you want to gift a game to someone in a different country, you best bet would be to either purchase a physical copy and send that to them, or purchase
    a gift card for their country/region, and email them the code, then they can purchase the game themselves.
