    Is there a way to restore a previous cloud save for a game on xbox.


    So my issue is I was playing age of wonders 4 and as the games take many hours to days to finish I didn't notice my data was deleted due to a bug, but since it wasn't apparent til I saw the results screen the cloud save was updated at some point in that time. Note, I did redownload that cloud save to check that this was thr case. Help, I miss all my ascended people...

    I'm sorry to hear your saved data has been deleted.

    Unfortunately, troubleshooting methods for this kind of problem are very limited.
    Do you, by any chance, have a different console you might've used to play this game recently? If your Cloud Saved data has already been overwritten, the only other way to restore some of it is by using another console's local save.

    No just the one console. Sounds like I'm screwed, sooo many hours lost....

    Offline game save overwrote cloud data

    Since the cloud data was overwritten so you can't go back to the previous save, you would have to have deleted the local game data and then restored it to the previous cloud.
