Is there a way to recover a live.com account?

This live.com account is my daughter's from over 15 years ago (probably for Minecraft). The username (email address) used is using a domain that I own. So it's an email address that's not related to any Microsoft product. I've tried all known password combinations without success. When I attempt password recovery, the only option is to get a verification code via a text message on a phone number that's long gone. I've tried a couple attempts at using the Microsoft account recovery page (https://account.live.com/acsr), without success. All I really need is to send the recovery code to the email address username. I've been unable to contact any human at Microsoft Support. Once I state that I need password recovery, I'm directed to the Account Recovery Page link. If there's some way to have this account turned on for email password recovery, that's all I'm looking for. I need this account because I'm migrating my email to Microsoft 365 family and I'd like to re-use this email address on one of the accounts. But I can't do it because this account already exists. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can recover this account?

Unfortunately, if the form is not accepted, it is not possible to recover the account.

Your feelings are understandable, however, it is important to clarify that Microsoft support is not able to assist regarding a lost account.

The only way you can recover it is by using the recover feature at live.com or by calling Phone Support: support.xbox.com/contact-us

The way to recover your Microsoft account is through the account recovery form (Recover your account (live.com)); However, I would still advise you to get in touch with PlayStation support regarding this since that's the platform you are gaming on.
