    Is there a way to leave the preview program outside the hub app?


    The update that released hours ago is not being applied and the console gets stuck at step 2/3 and to use the console online features the update is mandatory and doesn't let me do anything (stupid to say the least). I tried searching online for a way but eeeverywhere I look points me to the console app and not an outside option to step down from the preview program.

    Im on the Alpha group.

    You will have to open the Xbox Insider Hub on your PC and leave the Minecraft preview program then delete the game and install it again or your friend could join the preview program to be on the same version as you.

    Sorry to see you leave the preview program. You should be able to leave the program using the option in the Dashboard Preview App. Be aware that you will remain in the current preview until it is fully released to the public.

    If you are having issues using the option to leave the program from the app then you can post in the preview forums.

    Hi there the only way you could be invited to the next preview wave is if you have a friend in the preview program. Who could invite you by using the invite friend feature in the registration app. Outsider that forum section is not active anymore.
