No pending updates, ran the command in powershell and rebooted. Same error when trying to install game services. Or any other microsoft store app update for that matter.

There are a few things you can try to fix the issue with the Xbox app not installing on Windows 11.

Make sure that your internet connection is stable and fast enough to download the app.

Clear the cache and temporary files on your computer using the Disk Cleanup tool.

Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter to check for and fix any issues with the store or app installation.

Check for any pending Windows updates and install them.

Restart your computer and try to install the app again.

I appreciate you trying the steps, Jake. Kindly check if you have any pending updates, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

If there's nothing pending, Terminate and Reopen the Microsoft Store App. Press Win + I > Navigate to Apps > Installed apps > Locate the Microsoft Store app in the list and click on the three dots. Select the Advanced options option.

Scroll down and click on the Terminate button. Press the Win + R Then type ms-windows-store: into the text box and press Enter. Try installing the Xbox app again.

If in case you're trying to install your games via game pass, you can also try using MS store app so we can isolate if this issue is specifically on Xbox app.

If possible, try to connect to a different network. You could try mobile data hotspot to see if it fixes the issue. Please also perform the steps below.

Type in cmd in Windows search
Right-click on Command Prompt result and pick Run as administrator
Once the new window opens, type in the following commands, pressing Enter after each:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset

1. Check for Windows updates:

Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any pending updates.

If an update is available, install it immediately.

2. Repair the Xbox app:

Open Settings on your laptop.

Look for Xbox in the list of installed apps.

Click the Xbox app and select Advanced options.

3. Reinstall the Xbox app:
