Is there a way to disable the Xbox 360 guide while on Xbox one?

I’m playing lost planet 2 and I cannot due one of the coolest abilities due to you having to press the start and back button at the same time, which also pulls up the 360 guide.

I don't believe it's possible to disable or change the button combination used for the 360 guide. I'd recommend reporting this issue to Capcom: https://www.capcom-support.com/

That's if you're lucky, when you play Xbox Original games on the 360 all Guide/Dashboard features are disabled. It may do the same if it doesn't support the functions.

Just to clear up any confusion here. Yes, you can play other GTA 4 players via the Xbox One on backwards compatibility - which includes users with Xbox 360's. However, to invite them to a game, you need to use the Xbox 360 mini-guide, the same way you
would invite or join games on the Xbox 360.

To access the Xbox 360 mini-guide on your Xbox One, press Menu
and the View
button on your controller at the same time while on an Xbox 360 game.

When the Xbox Original game starts, it disables the guide. That is why the Xbox 360 tells you it is unavailable. Every Xbox 360 console does this when an Original Xbox game is started.

There’s multiple ways to add a fellow gamer while being on Xbox one. To add Xbox 360 gamers if your playing a backward compatible title all you have to do is press start/select at the same time on the Xbox one controller to pull up the Xbox 360 guide on your Xbox one. Another way is to have them sign in on the Xbox app or website and add that way as well since the Xbox one friend system works differently meaning you can follow gamers accounts and they don’t have to fully add you back. Xbox one and Xbox 360 friend system is different in that way.
