Is there a way to change the caps of you gamertag?

I've had an account for a while now and when I created it I forgot to capitalize the first letter but when trying to change the name it wont let you have the same thing twice.

Is there a way other then changing the name to something else then back to just capitalize the first letter?

Changing it to something else and then changing it back is the only way to change capitalization.

You would have to pay to change your tag to something else first. Then change it back. You would have to pay for each change.

The system doesn't see things like capitalization as making a gamertag unique. So in order to change it, you would need to change your tag to something else and then change it back.

I don't think it will let you change the caps because the system will see the gamertag as already being assigned. Even if you could change it you would be charged for the change.

Actually, you're quite right. The system recognizes the gamertag as the same even if one of the letters are in caps. So the only way to get the gamertag you wanted, you may need to change it to a completely different one which would cost you $20 if you're
in the US.
