is there a way to change my profile pic on xbox to a custom on on pc (xbox app or web)

Currently it can only be done on console and the mobile Xbox app.

The new app doesn't seem to allow you to change your icon. Meaning the only way you can change your custom profile pic is through a non-updated version of the app, on the system itself (Saving an image to your Xbox or using a USB), or using the PC app.

Do you mean a custom profile pic? If so, the PC app has never been updated to work with that. You can only change it on a console or the mobile Xbox app.

Can you change your gamer pic in your profile on a web browser?

I don't see a way to do that on xbox.com , under profile or otherwise.

I can change the pic on xbox app, but as stated I don't have access to the pic as it was from xbox 360's avatar system, and the avatar system on xbox one can't re-create it. I tried when I replaced the dog image after like a week of it staying that way, it
looks nothing like my original avatar and I'm even missing clothes I used on my avatar on xbox 360.

Dont worry there is more than one way to change your profile pic.

If you are on a android phone try using the microsoft edge browser and set your page to desktop based. This usually helps you move forward because the mobile web page can be a little glitchy.

If you have a PC this makes this so much easier. Just access your account page via the Xbox website and customize through your PC.

You can also change your gamer pic on your xbox by using an avatar picture or over a hundred different images available on the xbox for use as a profile picture.
