Is there a way to change my account from child to adult?

I once played with my little brothers account on this game called Sea Of Thieves, since he had the xbox gamepass and told me i can play it. However, ive been interested in insiders, my little brother said that i can have the account since he had no interest in gaming anymore. However, the account was on his birthmonth.
I'm 19 and hes 14. The account doesn't have permission for insiders, since it was his, now mine. I'm trying to find a way to changing that (if anyone knows how, please tell me) Also if a xbox moderator sees this, i wish i could change it to adult with your help, since I cant do that alone, and wish to not wait for 4 years to be able to do them, missing out on alot of stuff.

Can i change the status of my account from adult to child? And create a new adult account?

There is currently no way to do that. Sorry.

There is not a way to change your child's account from child to adult until the age of the account is 18. What specific settings are you trying to change?

Hey Xwarrior,

Did this account graduate naturally from a child account to an adult account or was there a birthday change attempt? You can change the birthdate to the Microsoft account but it will not change the birthdate that was entered originally to the Xbox profile.

In other words, a child account will remain a child account until it graduates naturally to an adult account. No way around it.

That isn't, since its locked to the first birthdate u put in. Even if u change it, it still identifies as that first one.

What ive found was that u might be able to, on microsoft family, by promoting that other account. Im not sure though
