    Is there a way to bypass the payment method while trying to get game pass ultimate?


    So yesterday, I redeemed a 5$ gift card, and I had the ultimate plan for 1$ so I clicked on it to buy it and it asked for a credit card or Paypal is there a method to bypass this because I don't really need to renew it, and there are enough funds on my account for me to afford it.

    You are required to have a back up payment method not only as a way to continue subscription, but to verify that you live in a supported location. There is no way to bypass it.

    No as it won't get turned on until you start the trial. There's no way to bypass requiring adding a payment method.

    Game Pass Ultimate is a subscription service and as such requires a valid payment method for each monthly amount.

    At this point in time there is no other way to purchase Game Pass Ultimate, other than by subscription. So Microsoft account balance will not cover it.

    Since Game pass is an Abo subscription you need a payment method available in your region, even if you can turn off reccuring billing after you have redeemed the Gamepass code.

    There is no way to bypass that.
