Is there a way to account recover an Xbox Live account made in 2004?

Pretty self explanatory question, I made the account back in roughly 2004 when Halo 2 came out.

I remember begging my mom and dad to get Comcast DSL specifically to play it because we still had Dial-up lol.

But back to the question, I remember the gamertag and all, I’m fairly certain I used legitimate information to create the account (meaning later on blowing through those 3 month free cards you’d find in Blockbuster game cases and using bogus information and credit info to create the account), as for the email I’m not sure if it was a AOL, Yahoo!, or my moms work email used in it, but this is definitely before Windows Live ID. Is there a way to actually get that account back? Technically speaking, it should have all the personal information on there like my address and phone number that has not changed along with the provided Gamertag.

Anyone got any ideas or is it a lost cause? Only reason I’m asking for the most part is that on my current Microsoft account it shows 15 years on the badge, and it be cool to get my first account ever created back to see if I’m able to even play with it still. Would be cool to see the 18 years instead.

Yeah, I figured I’d have to exhaust the account recovery and trying to remember the email.

I gotta try all emails I can think of, I was hoping given that the first original account never even had a Windows Live ID associated with it then it would fall into a different category.

It would be nice for the years badge on my account to reflect how many years I’ve actually had an Xbox live subscription.

I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

Sadly, an account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone.

The only way to reset her passcode is to recover the Xbox Live account. And once that's done she won't be able to have on on the account and she's freely to make one.
