Is there a way of changing a order for a game that was bought digitally?

I bought the standard copy of Battlefield hardline But meant to purchase the deluxe edition for $69.99. I downloaded the game and realized for $10 more I could have gotten extra content. Just wondering no need to bust my chops on the subject?

If you are signed into her console (or vice versa), she will have access to your paid DLC (most of it) as well. However, if you want to play together on separate consoles, then you are out of luck with previous purchases.

Going forward, here's what you should do: Anything that you want to buy, do it on her console under your gamertag and vice versa for her. When done this way, the console license will be granted to her console which allows all gamertags on that console to
access the content. You will also have a gamertag license to the content that you will be able to use on your console. Please note that you MUST be signed into XBox Live to access this gamertag license. Also, this method will not work for all content (avatar
gear is the main thing), and in those situations, you would have to buy the content twice if you both wanted to access it at the same time.

Unfortunately the answer to your question is no. Content can not be transfered between gamertag (on consoles with a content license transfer), however some content that is downloaded by one gamertags can access the same content on the console that the content
was origianlly downloaded to. As for between two consoles, content licensing restricts that and you would have to download each on to your wifes console from her gamertag which means making a purchase.

Sorry to hear it. Although there are no refunds for items phone support may be able to assist you. Give them a call and explain the issue to them. They may be able to cancel the one order so you can get the other.

Its not like they will run out of copies
and you can start playing the games as they download anyway.

While true for pre-ordering, it's not true later on. There are games on the Marketplace that have been removed after the fact because of licensing changes. The only way to get them is to have
bought them before the removal date.

If it had digital games on it when you purchased it that means the previous owner left the console as their Home console. If they bought a new console and changed that setting, you lose access to their games. You would need to purchase the games in order
to keep playing them.

You would need a digital license in order to play the game on the all digital console. The only way to do that, would be to own the game digitally.

There's no way around needing to own the games digitally in order to play them on a Series S. So if you own a game on disc, you would have to buy it digitally in order to play it.
