Is there a way I can change my name to just Kerisu without any number extensions?

I believe the original Xbox account name Kerisu isn't ever used since it has 0 gamerscore and I'd like to have the username since no one else is close to having that direct name other than Kerisuchan and Kerisura. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated! If nothing can be done, then thanks for your time!

The only way would be for the original owner to change the tag to something else or if the don't sign into their account for 5 years, it'll be freed up for use. There's no way to know exactly how inactive an account is since it can be used on multiple Microsoft services. So even if it's not in use on an Xbox, it may be in use elsewhere.

If the microsoft account the gamertag is tied to is still in use, then you will not be able to use it. Microsoft accounts are used for more than just Xbox.

Sorry to say but if the system adds the suffix after the "Pote" gamertag is not possible to bypass this.

If you want a gamertag without a suffix you may need to choose a different gamertag

That is correct ..... the name is just changed without any input from you. The only way to get a name you want is to pay. Even then the name may not be available.
