Is there a standalone Microsoft XB1 controller battery charger?

I purchased 2 Microsoft XB1 plug and play gets so that I have an extra battery. I use the Controller Wireless adapter to connect the controller to my PC. Unfortunately my PC's USB ports are fully, so I cannot plug the charging cable into it to charge the
    battery.

What I'd like to do is have a Microsoft battery charger that plugs into the wall that I use to charge my extra battery. I haven't been able to find one via Google search, but maybe I'm not using the right search terms.

    1) Is there a a Microsoft battery charger?

    2) If so, where can I buy one?

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

The standard controller inside the box does NOT come with a usb cord, nor the 2nd standalone controller. You can verify this with the "unboxing" video. I don't know why "tohellenback" thinks otherwise.

If you want to be able to charge your XB1 battery pack while using it you need a PnC kit. A standard usb cord WILL charge the XB1 batt pack but, you'd still need to buy a PnC kit to get that rechargeable XB1 batt pack. Usb cord WILL NOT charge any other
type of rechargeable batteries but, will offer a corded controller option.

    You have 2 options:

    1. Pnc kit-$24.99 [comes with MS XB1 batt pack and a usb cord)

    2. Pnc controller kit-$74.99 [comes with above-mentioned plus 1 controller]

Otherwise you go the way of regular AA batteries or rechargeable AA batteries with their own standalone charger.

xbox one controller battery critical X 8

Fully charged my batteries and after 5 mins the controller reads low battery, says battery critical on the xb1, i tried new AA batteries to see if the batteries where faulty, the same thing happened after 5mins. I have checked the connections on the controller
and they are a good conection, i have tried 8 different batteries and the same out come, is this a fault with these controllers? i have my xb1 6 months. Should i just return the controller to xbox and ask for a replacement?

    Hi there,

I'm afraid that as far as know there are no official battery chargers other then using a usb cable.

Keep in mind that it would be possible to connect it to any usb port, so also from different devices, some monitors or even keyboards come are equipped with a usb port, so those could be used to charge the controller too.

If that isn't possible then you could consider getting a usb hub which can be connected to the PC to have some additional usb ports available.

The only official option is the controller charger stands.

Cracks on Halo Reach Edition 360 Controllers

Are the battereis theselves Microsoft bricks or are they the Kykpo brand bricks? I know you showed us your charger, I have no idea if the Nyko batteries fit the MS chargers or not. Anyway, the Nyko brand batteries are known to be too tight and cracking the
    controllers.

I put Duracell rechargeable AA batteries in my Xbox controller. Why won't they recharge when the USB cable is plugged in?

They don't, but the charger in the controller is only for the battery pack

You need to buy a charger
