Is there a reason i never get a callback from ms support when i set up one?

I can't speak to not being able to set up a call back as we've not had any notification that there was an issue at that moment.

However, what I can do is suggest going back to https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and start a chat. When you get to a fellow gamer ask to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate. They are the same people that would give you a call back.

Hi there again I've been trying phone support but it puts me hold for ever or they tell me to leave a callback number and when I left a callback number they never called back

To me it seems very unlikely that there is something wrong with the controller. If ordered one from Amazon and sent it back and ordered one from Microsoft. Both have the same problems and MS doesn´t recognize that their Xbox Accessories must be faulty.
I repeat: the Elite Controller is working perfectly, but I can´t configure button and paddles. A callback from MS support is worthless too after three hours on the phone to MS. It´s such a shame.

Go to the
Support website and choose "Contact Us". When prompted for the reason, select "Payments & Billing", then "I don't recognize a charge", and you should get the option to request a callback.
