    Is there a possibility of expanding XBox Play Anywhere to many older titles that are dear...


    I've been an owner of Xbox consoles for many long years, even starting with the original XBOX and the first game I played on it, Crash Tag Team Racing. I've owned several games that made wonderful memories for me and would like to return to them through the power of the Xbox Series S backwards compatibility and Xbox Play Anywhere. However, the games that I want to play seem to not be supported yet for Play Anywhere, those games being:
    - Fable III
    - Battleblock Theater
    - Hydro Thunder Hurricane
    - N+
    - Rayman 3 HD
    - Rayman Origins
    - Saints Row 2
    - Trials HD
    - And many others...

    These titles all have one thing in common - that being that every one of them is playable via backwards compatibility. Each one is an Xbox 360 game that has a special place in my mind and heart and were all fun to play, and I imagine this is the case for many other loyal customers and videogame titles. Not only would it be a popular move to include such titles in Xbox Play Anywhere, but it would easily be a good business move for those seeking their 'nostalgia fix' as it were, such as myself.

    I'd like to ask if there are plans to expand the scope of Xbox Play Anywhere with respect to older titles. Playing via Backwards Compatibility is already very nice for each one of these titles, but for those who own a PC that is more powerful, such as myself, there is a lot to gain from being able to install a game via the Xbox Application, and it would be a nice way to make a large portion of the Xbox playerbase very happy.

    I am hopeful but pragmatic. I can imagine that the answer is that older games won't be supported for Play Anywhere, but I will never know for sure if I do not ask!

    Well fable 3 is delisted and it's unlikely any bc will be added

    Play anywhere is only on games 2016 on

    With a lot of games being delisted continually it's doubtful anyone will accept renewing a license. For millions just so you can get a free copy

    if it's not play anywhere at the time it comes out it can't be, and Xbox 360 titles cannot be play anywhere

    Will Xbox Play Anywhere expand to old games?

    Xbox Play Anywhere is new Xbox One & Windows 10 games only, they have no plans to expand to older games. I don't think they will ever expand it to older games. A lot of the publishers would have to get involved and I don't think they would want to do that
    when they have newer games in the pipeline.

    Game Pass is meant to be used for the console. It's just an added benefit that some games are Play Anywhere titles and can be played on both. So Game Pass would either need to expand to include PC games or Minecraft would have to become a Play Anywhere
    title.
