    i am a Alpha build tester on my One X and wanted to know, with the new generation, if there are things to worry about with the series X? a friend of mine Updated to alpha and got stuck till an error accured.

    Good news! I reverted to the beta build and after the update I was able to go through the setup console instructions again. It prompted a code so I am back remote with the series x 😊. I guess it was the alpha build that was messing it up. Should I try to go back to the alpha build? 🤔

    ^from what i understand, console version is going to be at the XP event and the alpha build has maps that have up to 32 MP.

    I don't think the TV should matter - it's the connection between the external device and the Xbox. I also don't think you need to factory reset your Xbox - I won't say that you can't do it, but if it will inconvenience you I wouldn't.

    However, I think we should try the Insider app method. Seeing if taking your console out of the Alpha Build and back into the general build or honestly different one may be a good method to try. The two Xbox's I have are on the Standard build (No insider) and a different build (internal) and both worked, neither are on Alpha.

    If this fixes the issue, please let me know and I can communicate with appropriate teams about this issue on the Alpha Build.
