Is there a minimum size for external HDD for game clips (X1X)?

In system settings it says 128Gb/USB3 or faster

for games and apps but for game clips only USB3, no mention about size.

Would 240Gb be large enough?

The requirements for Universal in a matter what you’re doing with them. As long as it’s USB three it should work

If you can get an external with a 7200rpm hdd then go for it, but the 5400rpm drives will work just fine. Note that the external hard drive
MUST be USB 3.0 compliant. Minimum size of 256GB.

You can use external storage on Xbox one, but it must be an external USB 3.0 hard drive. Flash drives are not supported as a storage device - they only work for video playback. The minimum size of HDD is 256GB, there is no upper limit. You can install
all future games to these hard drives.

if any of you actually used a capture device.... you would know of the file sizes... I use a pure HDMI input Avermedia Pcie HD DVR.. and at lower than medium settings, a 10 minute video was close to 1Gb... if it recorded anything longer.. the HDD will
fill up on one a 500 ticket BF4 TDM round. at least this way it will keep the files to a minimum.... good for clips and stuff... but montages will still need to be done on an external device

Personally I don't see the point of getting a SSD drive, the improvement you get in load times isn't much better than just getting a good quality 7200rpm drive.

I think you'd be better off getting a big 2TB 7200rpm drive, it will load faster than the standard HDD in the Xbox One, and you should never run out of space (unlike the small SSD)

Just my opinion.
