    Is there a fix for Oblivion Remaster not launching on Xbox Series X?


    I have been trying to launch Oblivion Remastered since the update to 1.1 and what happens is it will show the gamepass splash screen then back to the dashboard. ive tried reinstalling it 2 or 3 times i even tried to reset my Xbox (keeping games and apps) but no change. Does anyone know how to get the game to launch?

    Backwards compatibility is possible after Series X launches but would require the publisher signing it off. Remaster would be interesting... not sure it's dated enough yet to really need that treatment

    So true, Hopefully these retro games can become (remastered) for Xbox One and Series X/S.... It's possible because most of the titles are from existing companies such as EA and 2k.... Activision acquired the developer of the Project Gotham Series therefore it's possible these companies can remaster these classic games

    In my opinion that game should just retire. It was fun when it came out, 7 years ago on the 360.

    Now it will also launch on the new generation, i wounder for how long are they going to milk the cow.

    And i can see a rdr2 remastered edition for series x and another one for the future console that will probably launch around 2027/2028
