Is there a fix for NBA2k21 Series X Shutdown?

If you want a refund after all, you just have to go to Request an Xbox refund | Xbox Support , sign in using the account that purchased the game, select the the game you want a refund for and then request the refund!

After your refund request is approved it shall take from 3 to 5 business days for your money to be back!

I don't know about NBA2K21, different company. But I do know that EA's games FIFA21, NHL21 and Madden21
don't have cross play between Xbox One and Series X/S. So unfortunately you won't be able to play these latest games with your friends who have them on Series X.

You can play last years versions with them though no problem. Probably not what you wanted to hear. Sorry about that.

I dont think they'll shutdown the servers just yet, especially with Series X having retro compatibility.

Also the game servers are hosted by the publishers most of the time.

I've had recent issues with noise and disc drive not being recognised on my Xbox Series X and the only way I found to stop this issue is to do a Full shutdown of the console and restart.

Settings>System>General>Power...>Full shutdown.

Its worthwhile removing power cable from console for a few minutes after you shutdown before you restart.

Also, eject the disc before you shutdown.

I changed it to never turn off , but I’m playing games when it freezes . I’m not just letting it idle or turn off after media. The console seems to freeze after 5-6 hours of playing , then shuts down and I have to manually turn they system again again. When the console shutdowns the controller stays on.
